Yup, I want me a Wooly Winder for El Matchador and I've decided that with unemployment looming in my future, I should approach this acquisition with some forethought. Wow, I sound almost like a grown up (let us not speak of the impulsive way in which El Matchador was procured).
One way I hope to save up my pennies is by selling my silly little Sculpey creations. I know, I'm no Amyville, nor am I trying to be. She is in a class of her own. But if any of those little guys appeal to you, including my newest addition, the Itty Bitty Sheepy Beads:

I see the beads are already sold, but I thought I'd drop you a line anyway. I make beaded stitch markers and these would be adorable if they are fairly inexpensive. Also the hole would need to go from top to bottom instead of left to right. Are you planning on making more?

Hi Marnie! I stumbled onto your blog after ordering the Erte cloche pattern from you (haven't started it yet!) and I have spent the past few days reading your blog. I was wondering if you have any advice about living in Portland? Are there areas to avoid? I'd love to move out there, but want to have an idea of housing prices, etc. before I try talking the hubster into it (need to be fully armed!) Thanks!
And thanks for sharing your handspun yarns with us, they are gorgeous! I am heading over to Nistock now to get me some Cotswold - oh, and where did you get the alpaca/BFL blend? They're my absolute favorite fibers, but have never seen them in a blend! Thanks!

You sculpey buttons are very cute. I could see them being sold at some of the boutique yarn stores here at NYC. But your other piece of news - unemployment?!!? I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

Long time lurker as well. I have to tell you are infectious. After reading of your love for El Matchador I went out and bought a used one as well. Mine came with ALL the toys including a WooLee Winder.... and I LOVE it. I spun the exact same amount of wool on a normal bobbin and it was overflowing when the WooLee bobbin wasn't even quite halfway full. Good luck and have fun!
