It's been rainy. I love the rain, but Saturday was sunny and beautiful. You know what? I love sunshine too. Lucky me.
We packed a little picnic and headed for the coast.
Thea carried the water like a trooper.
Which freed us up to take in the view.
Don't mind the precipitous drop to likely doom, just look at the pretty.
Because at the end of the trail is joy.
And of course, a little lunch.
And a whole lot of fetch.
Smiles abound.
The view was just as nice on the hike back.
And a last game of fetch before going home.
And the cherry on top, a little soak in one of my favorite features of the house.
What can I say? Life is good. Hope your weekend was even better.

i have to say, this had my 2 favorite things: the beach and a massive bathtub. i want one of those! can't do it in this house, though, sigh.

Looks like a wonderful day - my idea of the perfect day anyway. We are going to Palo Alto for a long weekend (have to deliver the Halloween costumes for the 2 oldest grands that I made - that's my excuse anyway.) Wonder if we could fit in a trip to Half Moon Bay on Sunday.

I love all of the pics but my fave is Panda in profile looking so pensive and sorry that the day at the beach is coming to an end.
